BEST PLACES TO VISIT IN SHIMLA 

 

Shimla is situated in north India, and is famous for its mountain views and also for its rich forests. There are so many tourist places here, which attracts tourists towards its beauty. It has a good temperature throughout the year and can visit here in the month of June to October. You should ignore visiting here during the monsoon season, It can be risky in the rainy season due to landslides at that time. Jakhoo hills are located in  Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. This hill station is the highest peak of Shimla. It is most known for its Jaakhoo temple, where a 108 meters high, Statue of Hanuman, is situated. The view of Shimla from here is more beautiful than heaven ever. There is a myth behind the name of Scandal point, i.e. There was a king named Bhupender Singh who take out a British viceroy’s daughter from this city. To take revenge for this, Viceroy was stopped at the entrance for Bhupendra Singh. This is a hilly area, so visitors can enjoy snowfall in the winter season in the month of December and January. People loved this type of place to hang out with their friends, their family, etc.

CHRIST CHURCH

Christ Church is the second oldest church of North India which is situated in the capital of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla( queen of hills). You can visit here in the early morning or at the time of prayer in church. At the time of Prayer, the surroundings here are most peaceful and positively energetic.

 It was built in 1857 by British rulers. The church has furnished with glass windows, which represent faith, hope, charity, fortitude, patience, and humanity. 

 

 

KUFRI

Visiting Places in Shimla

Kufri is one of the more beautiful hill stations of Shimla, ( the capital city of Himachal Pradesh and queen of Hills also). It is up to 2622 above sea level.  It is 16 km away from Shimla on the National Highway no.22. It is famous for its adventurous winter sports, People like to enjoy Ice skating, Skiing, Paragliding, etc that’s why it is called Winter Sports Capital. This place is also famous for its nature parks and picnic spots. The beauty of these hill stations is at its peak at the time of snowfall and an annual winter sports festival is also held in the month of February. 

The average minimum and maximum temperature of Kufri is between 7 degrees Celsius to 22 degrees Celsius. Here is also a Kufri wildlife zoo is located in which different species of wild animals or fauna sheltered like Antelopes, deer, bears, snow leopard, and birds like Himalayan Monal (state bird of Himachal Pradesh).
